Capital Brewery is a publicly held, award-winning regional brewery with distribution in four Midwestern states.

Capital Brewery was established in 1984, and since that time, has gained a reputation as one the Midwest’s finest regional breweries. In 2003, in the midst of a leadership change, Capital’s Board of Directors contacted Will to assume responsibility for the brewery’s financial management.

As the brewery’s CFO, Will immediately established practices to significantly reduce the company’s operational expenses. He streamlined monthly financial processes, negotiated cost-saving contracts with suppliers and outside service providers, and developed a 3- to 5-year strategic plan for the brewery.

During the leadership transition, Will also worked directly with the Board of Directors to facilitate the search for a new president, improve communication within the company, and address human resource, marketing communication, and other strategic management issues.

Will continues to work with Capital’s president and Board as CFO, identifying and recommending ways to improve the brewery’s financial performance.
