Greenway Properties develops and manages commerical real estate properties in Middleton.

When Greenway Properties’ vice president of finance departed at years’ end, the company had a critical need for immediate high-level financial management. Will was contacted to serve as the company’s acting CFO, managing the year-end reconciliation process, facilitating corporate and personal tax returns, and shepherding relationships with internal staff and outside accountants.
 
As acting CFO, Will is also facilitating Greenway’s conversion to a new accounting and property management software system.  Will identified deficiencies in the existing accounting system, researched software system capabilities and compatibility, established an improved chart of accounts, and organized employee training on the new system. He is also working closely with Greenway’s senior management to recruit a new controller: identifying position objectives, developing a job description, and interviewing and analyzing potential candidates.
 
After a full-time controller is hired, Will’s day-to-day financial management role will scale back. However, Greenway will continue to need his involvement on high-level projects, and he will continue serving the company as a trusted strategic advisor and tax expert.
