Imago Scientific Instruments manufactures state-of-the-art scientific instruments, including LEAP®, an innovative atom probe microscope.

When the 5-year-old company lost its financial manager earlier in the year, their outside accounting firm suggested they contact Will for interim financial management.

Will’s contributions to Imago consist of two primary functions: end-of-month financial review and analyses, and annual business planning. Supported by an interim accountant, Will provides senior-level analysis, tax implication guidance, and “what-if” scenarios to Imago’s president and board of directors. He works within Imago’s existing systems and procedures, but also suggests improvements that will help the company grow and prosper.

As Imago transitions from a small research and development company to a larger, product-oriented commercial enterprise, it will need a full-time CFO. Will is currently helping Imago evaluate candidates for this position, and will continue providing transitional financial support until that position is filled.
